As creatures of habit, we gravitate towards the familiar, seeking comfort in routines that create a sense of safety and predictability. We build habits not just out of necessity but as a shield against the uncertainty of life. The unknown feels daunting, so we cling to what we know, living within the confines of our comfort zones.
But within the unknown lies infinite potential—possibilities that can shape our lives in extraordinary ways. The unknown holds whatever you dare to imagine, yet fear keeps us from exploring it. Even when we sense the incredible opportunities on the other side, stepping into the unknown can feel overwhelming.
Our ego plays a significant role here, fueling self-doubt and insecurity. It whispers that we’re not good enough, not worthy, or that our dreams are too far-fetched. These limiting beliefs serve to protect us from the discomfort of change, anchoring us in the safety of the known.
This 7 week programme is an embodied exploration, of the facets of the feminine, through the lens of sexuality.
Recently, I’ve started confronting my ego head-on. When those familiar voices of resistance arise, I acknowledge them for what they are—attempts to keep me safe—and then choose to act anyway. I’m actively breaking the cycle of fear and routine.
It doesn’t have to be monumental; small actions can make a big impact. It could be exploring a new coffee shop, choosing a different place to exercise, trying a new type of meditation, or simply taking a different route to work. Even something as minor as changing the order in which you tie your shoelaces can shift your mindset and create new neural pathways.
Each time we do something differently, we open ourselves up to growth. We expand our inner world, making those once seemingly impossible dreams feel just a little more attainable. By embracing the unknown, even in the smallest ways, we cultivate a sense of possibility that challenges the boundaries we once thought were unbreakable.
So, take that step. Challenge the habits that keep you confined. Embrace the unknown with curiosity, and let it guide you toward infinite opportunities
